What happens if a search finds nothing?
You are not charged. The ₦300 is only taken once a record actually comes back, so a customer whose details are wrong costs you nothing but the minute it took.
Do I need a registered business to use this?
No. The page is written for business centres because that is who mostly uses it, but nothing about the account requires a business. If you are running searches for yourself, or for people who ask you now and then, it works the same way, one search at a time.
Do I have to fund a wallet before I can try it?
To use it properly, yes, funding is how the wallet works. But if you would rather see it work first, message us and we will put trial credits on your account by hand so you can run a real lookup without paying.
Is this legitimate?
Idyntic is operated by Apexly Technologies Limited and reaches the NIMC database through authorised third party identity verification providers, not by any back door. You are responsible for only running searches you have the person's permission to run, the same as any other identity service.
Do you keep my customers' data?
No. The record you see after a search is held in your browser for as long as that page is open and is never written to our database. Close the tab and it is gone. We keep the bookkeeping, who searched and what it cost, not the applicant's photo, address or date of birth.
Can I reprint a slip I already paid for?
The same slip type off the same search is free to download again while the result is still on your screen. A different format off that same search is charged as a new print.
What does it cost to put money in?
A flat ₦50 gateway fee is taken before the money reaches your balance. Idyntic does not receive that ₦50. It is the same ₦50 whether you send ₦500 or ₦5,000, so larger transfers keep more of your money.
